Treatment Technique
When you come to Snyder Plastic Surgery at The Breast and Body Center for your Aveli™ treatment, it should last about 45-minutes to an hour. We will mark the treatment area where the cellulite will be treated. Dr. Snyder will inject (with a tiny needle) a liquid anesthetic under the skin. Then, a suction cup will be attached to stabilize the skin with cellulite.
Bands that exist throughout fat in the thighs and buttocks are the culprit in most cellulite cases. These tight bands pull down the skin, creating the puckering you see on the surface. Once the band is released by being treated with the needle, the banded skin should relax and become smooth. The Aveli™ system can also give your buttock an uplifted or augmented appearance once the dimples have been released.

During/After Treatment
Once your Aveli™ treatment is complete, you can go about your day as normal. You may be in some discomfort, but it can be managed with an over-the-counter pain reliever. We may also ask you to wear a compression garment for a week following the treatment. This garment will help speed up your healing process. You may want to take it easy for a couple of days, but the soreness, tenderness, and bruising should not keep you from your everyday life.

Should I Take Time Off?
You may be sore from the Aveli™ treatment, but this discomfort should not keep you from your job. When Will I See Results?
You should see your Aveli™ results in about 3 days to a week. The reduction in your cellulite is a process that will take time to develop. You should see smoother skin, less dimpling, and reduced cellulite for 2 – 3 years in the treatment area.
How Long Do Results Last?
Patients in the pivotal study showed significant improvement shortly after the treatment, with results lasting at least two years. It appears that many of these results are now going to be up to three years. This is the longest FDA clearance for a cellulite treatment.
